Benchmark incentives earned by two NPS students April 25, 2008 - No reporter cited

Third graders Gabi Dougan and Kaleb Collier were the winners of a $50.00 Wal-mart gift card. Shirley Wright, Principal of Nashville Primary School, presented the Benchmark incentive to these lucky third grade students.

An assembly for third grade students and teachers was held prior to the Augmented Benchamark Exam expaling incentives for the students.

Four expectations were discussed: 1. Be in your seat at 8 a.m. 2. Be present all day

3. Give your BEST effort during the test 4. Display good behavior.

Classroom teachers were responsible for observing their students to determine if they met the daily expectations. A treat was given to the students that fulfilled the set guideline each day of the Benchmark. For every day the student reached the behaviors, their name was entered into a drawing for the grand prize. A drawing for the grand prize was held Friday April 18, as a conclusion to the Benchmark Exam.
