Bobbie McAdams, 76, loving mother, Aug. 24 August 25, 2008 - No reporter cited

Bobbie McAdams, 76, of Magnolia, died Sunday, August 24, 2008 at a Magnolia hospital.

She was born Dec. 30, 1931 in Mineral Springs, to Julian and Ethel Pearl (May) Hosey.

Bobbie was a homemaker, a member of the North Arkansas Street Church of Christ in Springhill and the Ladies Bible Class. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry Lee McAdams, Jr.; seven brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her daughters, Margaret McAdams and Amelia McAdams of Magnolia; sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie and Kathy McAdams of Searcy and Gary and Jerri McAdams of Magnolia; sisters, Mary Biard of Dinuba, Calif., Lena Bell Rutherford of Selma, Calif., Snoe Briggs of Jacksonville, N.C., Hazel Beck of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Mabel Adams of Victoria, Texas; grandchildren, Josh McAdams and wife Heather of Chicago, Brittany Grundy and husband Dayton, Austin McAdams, Dusty Walker and Adam Walker, all of Magnolia, Alan McAdams and Megan McAdams, both of Searcy; great-grandson, Graham Grundy; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thurs., Aug. 28, at Lewis Funeral Chapel.

Burial will be in Taylor City Cemetery, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
