Obituaries

Bobby Dale Wakefield, 74, of Dallas, Texas, died March 14, 2008.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy Wakefield of Dallas; a son, Tommy Wakefield of Mesquite, Texas; a daughter: Tracey Wakefield of Duncanville, Texas; a stepson, Fred Zavala; and a stepdaughter, Linda Morgan, both of Dallas; a sister, Jimmie Nell Sanders of Hope; a brother, Kenneth Wakefield of Columbus, Ga.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Sat., April 12, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Hope, with Rev. Hal Dixon and Olan Reeves officiating, under the direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
