A fifth-grader at Caddo Hills Elementary School during the 2006-2007 school year placed third among 200 entries in the art category in the 2007 Preserve Our Past Art and Essay Invitational sponsored by the Department of Arkansas Heritage.

Brandon Bush, son of James and Tara Bush of Norman, won the third-place award for his watercolor painting of the Montgomery County Courthouse.
Hundreds of people saw his work when it was on display at the Old State House Museum in downtown Little Rock during the month of May.
Bush’s watercolor has been framed and is now on display in the Montgomery County Courthouse.
