Council looks at options to solve stray dog problem September 26, 2007 - No reporter cited

GLENWOOD – The City Council met for the second time in September on Monday night and discussed the city’s stray dog problem at length as well as approving a resolution to buy a new generator for the water treatment plant.

The council voted to table Ordinance 07-02 (which concerned the slaughtering of certain livestock within city limits) until they could get an opinion from the Municipal League.

They voted 4-0 to approve Resolution 07-05, which is a mutual aid agreement with the Pike County Sheriff’s Department.
