Gerald Dee Higgins, 80, of Pike City, died Friday, April 25, 2008.

He was born Aug. 28, 1927, in Woodall Valley.

He is survived by his wife, Eunice Higgins; a son, Vance Higgins; a daughter, Vivian Van Camp; two sisters, Pearl Witt and Arlene Chandler of Oregon; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Sun., April 27, in Wood Cemetery, Murfreesboro, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
