Charlotte (Lovell) Gibson and F.D Gibson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on August 16. They were married in the United Methodist Church in Dierks in 1958. 

They are long time residents of Dierks, where F.D farmed and Charlotte taught at Dierks Elementary for over 20 years.  They have one son, Greg, who resides in Dierks and one daughter, Gretchen, who lives in Fayetteville with her husband Mark Castleman and their daughters, Lora and Kate.

The couple celebrated their anniversary with family at The Lodge at Mount Magazine State Park.
