NASHVILLE – The Howard County Children’s Center reelected board of directors to a standard three-year term Tuesday morning.
Eileen Jamison, Rick Hicks, Jimmy Dale, Latito Williams and Sharla Parrish were reelected to the board of directors.
Jimmy Dale, president; Ken Young, vice president; Laura Ferguson, secretary and Ronny Woods, treasurer were all reelected to one-year terms for their board position.
Dale thanked everyone involved with the 11th annual telethon. “I didn’t think we could do it without my pal Ronny [Woods],” he joked. Woods was not able to co-host the show due to a surgery.
More than $52,000 was pledged.
The board learned that the bass tournament raised approximately $15,000 and had an additional 20 boats registered the day of the tournament.
The Rainbow Learning Center will have their preschool graduation at 9 a.m. on May 23 and is “going to be quite a production,” HCCC Director Tim Freel said.
