Murfreesboro Diamond

The Pike County Memorial Hospital Board met in its regular meeting last night.

The board interviewed Dr. Richard Plant of Clarendon. The Diamond will report the board’s decision in next week’s edition.

According to Hospital Administrator Rosemary Fritts, Dr. Plant wants to relocate to Murfreesboro to practice medicine and fish.

According to Fritts, if the board accepts the doctor, the Family Clinic of Murfreesboro will remain open.
