Mrs. Jacque Howard of Nashville is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Tela Ruth Howard, to Russell William Young Jr., of Saratoga.
The bride elect is the daughter of the late Danny Howard. She is the granddaughter of James and Frankie Jamison of Nashville and the late Floyse and Ruth Howard of Dierks.

Tela is a 2003 graduate of Nashville High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene.

She is employed by Coffee Family Dental of Hope.

The bridegroom elect is the son of Rusty Young of Saratoga and Yolanda Barton of Nashville.

He is the grandson of Gayla Young and the late Homer Young of Saratoga and Henrietta Hendricks of Columbus and the late Russell Hendricks. He is the great-grandson of Verneise McJunkins of Saratoga. Russell is a 2003 graduate of Mineral Springs High School. He is employed by Weyerhaeuser Company.
The couple will exchange vows Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 3 p.m. at the Sunset Church of Christ in Nashville.
