Illegal immigrant receives sentence, held for deportationTerrica Hendrix

NASHVILLE – An illegal immigrant was sentenced in Howard County Circuit Court on Wednesday and now awaits deportation.
Salvador Cardenas Cardenas, 32, of Nashville, entered a guilty plea for a charge of forgery in the second degree. Judge Charles Yeargan granted the state’s recommended sentence of three years suspended, DNA costs, and that he be held for Immigration and Naturalization Service.
Courtney Stuart, 20, of Nashville, was sentenced to 30 days jail (with credit for two days served) for probation revocation on a residential burglary and theft of property charge. He was ordered to report back May 21.
Robin A. Atterberry, 32, of Delight, entered a not guilty plea for a possession of a controlled substance (crack cocaine) charge. He was ordered to report back on May 21 with an attorney.
Rico Newton, 26, of Nashville, was ordered to pay fines by July 23 and was released from the Howard County Jail.
Chelerome McFadden, 24, of Hope, entered a not true plea to a probation revocation for a possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (marijuana) charge. McFadden’s bond was set at $10,000 and was ordered to report back April 30 before Judge Ted Capeheart.

April 16 – Adam Jones v. Amy Jo Jones
April 17 – Jennifer Carver v. William Carver.
Howard County Clerk Janice Huffman issued marriage licenses to the following couples:
April 11 – Kevin Dale Broach, 31, and Laurie Deanna Rogers, 34, both of Lockesburg.
Walter Abarado, 35, and Shatina Ann Logan, 33, both of Nashville.
April 16 – Marcell LaShan Johnson, 26, and MeKisha MeKila Prevoe, 25, both of Hope.
William L. Toliver, 67 and Sheila Ann Brock, 50, both of Nashville.
April 17 - Brian Lee Hooks, 30, of Patterson and Audra Marie Ortega, 23, of Tyler, Texas.
