Obituaries

Joy Carlton Chandler, 60, of Nashville, died Saturday, May 3, 2008.

She was born Dec. 7, 1947, in Bodcaw.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Chandler of Nashville; two sons, David Lemley and Steve Lemley, both of Texarkana; two daughters, Kelly Park of Hope and Megan Chandler of Nashville; three brothers, Dickie Carlton, Larry Carlton and Randy Carlton; a sister, Jamie Prince, all of Bodcaw; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tues., May 6, at Union Baptist Church, Bodcaw, with Rev. Joe Brown officiating.

Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Bodcaw, under the direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, Hope.

Family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home in Hope.
