Juniors Lawrence, Kelly lead Scrapper linksters at MalvernDewayne Holloway

NASHVILLE – The junior tandem of Tyler Lawrence and Justin Kelly led the Nashville Scrappers to a fourth place finish in their golf match at Malvern Tuesday, Aug. 18.
Lawrence shot a 38, third best on the day, followed by Kelley who shot 39.
All seven district teams were in competition, with over 40 young men competing.
Nashville had a team score of 128, nine shots off Malvern’s winning score of 119.
Michael Steel and Tres Dunn each shot a 46, Aaron Shanks shot a 51 and Austin Shanks a 58.
Waldron finished second with a 125, followed by DeQueen with a 126.
Brennan Watkins was the medallist with a 35.
In girl’s action, Waldron won the match with a team score of 128.
Hannah Allen of Waldron was the medallist with a score of 41.
Hayden Kirchhoff led the Scrapperettes with a 55, followed by Nicole Drummond with a 59, and Marissa McCammack with a 62.
Nashville will return home August 24 to host their next match at the Nashville Country Club, with the match starting at 4 p.m.
