Local auctioneer named 2007 World Champion in Branson September 5, 2007 - No reporter cited

Nick Fowler, a lifelong resident of Glenwood, was recently awarded the 2007 Auctioneers World Championship in Branson, MO when he posted the highest average score of 94.75 through the two rounds.

Fowler took home the winning purse of $10,000 cash, the 2007 World Champion Auctioneer Buckle and trophy. He narrowly beat out the runner-up, Casey Enlow of Oklahoma. Less than two points separated Fowler and Enlow.

Fowler won the Arkansas State Auctioneers Championship in 2004 and also scored high in the International Auctioneers Championship last month in San Diego.
