West Central Arkansas Planning & Development District (WCAPDD) General Improvement Fund grant is to Montgomery County Department of Emergency Management for community and economic development projects within WCAPDD’s ten county service area. The Arkansas House of Representatives appropriated funding to WCAPDD for the grant program to assist local communities with their community and economic development needs.

Montgomery County received $13,325.49 in grant funding from WCAPDD. According to Judge Ted Elder, the county is grateful for the funding and will use it for emergency management equipment.
