Newton – Tolbert to exchange vows May 10Wedding vows will be exchanged by Latasha Rene Newton and Brazile (BJ) Tolbert Jr. at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at Wellington Village Assembly of God Church in Little Rock. Pastor David E. Cox will officiate.
Honor attendants are Lenesha Cormier, Chelsie Hall, and Courtney Canady. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Newton of Tollette. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Newton, and the late Joyce Brown. Parents of the bridegroom are Brazile Tolbert Sr. of Conway, and the late Dorothy Lee Tolbert. He is the grandson of May Tolbert and the late Jake Tolbert, and the late Willie May Holcromb .
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Mineral Springs High School and has a bachelor’s degree in interior design from the University of Central Arkansas at Conway.
She is employed with Alltel in the Financial Services and Order Processing department.
The bridegroom is a 1994 graduate of Morrilton High School and has a bachelor’s degree in dietetics from the University of Central Arkansas at Conway. The bridegroom is employed with American Red Cross in the quality department. The couple will live in Little Rock after a honeymoon in Jamaica, Ocho Rios.
