A Mount Ida man pleaded guilty to possession of a schedule II controlled substance in Montgomery County Circuit Court proceedings in September, and eight others were arraigned on felony charges in circuit court proceedings.

Charles Dale Gable, 26, of Mount Ida pleaded guilty to possession of a schedule II controlled substance on Friday, Sept. 7, and was sentenced to 72 months probation and to complete a drug court program.
