OZAN – Officers found approximately 30 pounds of marijuana while executing a search warrant Wednesday.
Authorities from the Nashville Police Department, Howard and Hempstead County Sheriff’s Departments, Arkansas State Police and South Central Drug Task Force worked together to execute the search warrant, NPD Narcotics officer David Stinson said.
Herman Trotter, 42, (a.k.a. “Breeze”) of Ozan was arrested after officers “found about 30 pounds of processed marijuana and sieved three firearms and three vehicles, drug paraphernalia, such as scales, clear plastic bags and smoking devices,” Stinson added. Officers were able to seize those vehicles because they had reason to “believe the vehicles were used to transport marijuana in large quantities.”
Trotter is charged with possession with intent to deliver (marijuana), simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is held in the Hempstead County Detention Center.
