The Pike County Fair is just around the corner. It will be September 18-22 this year. The fair books are printed and may be picked up at area stores around the county. The fair board, 4-H clubs, riding club and volunteers have been working hard to make improvements on the fair grounds. Some of the improvements are:

1. 4-H Booths have been moved to the Crawford Building

2. The sides have been taken off the old 4-H Building and this is now a pavillion with new picnic tables.

3. The fence in the arena has been painted.

4. New announcer stand in the arena was built and donated by Wright’s Food Center.

These are just a few improvements that have been completed.

The pageants have new co-directors this year.
