Nashville High School sponsored the 2008 Sports Banquet at the school cafeteria. The Scrapper basketball, cross country, tennis and golf teams were honored for the achievements that they accomplished this year.

Boys basketball

Coach Ted Green acknowledged the young men that were honored for their achievements on the boy’s basketball team:

All District Honors-Josh Daniels and Stephen Green.

Honorable Mention-Brandon Marshall and Tyler Martin

Best Shooter-Stephen Green, at 21 percent field goal percentage

Free Throws-Tyler Martin, with 87 percent free throw percentage

Assists-Tyler Martin

Rebounds-Josh Daniels

Defense-Tremaine Armstrong

Newcomer-Tyler Martin

Seniors- Phillip Ray and Josh Daniels

Girls basketball

Coach Ron Alexander acknowledged the young women who were honored for their achievements on the girl’s basketball team:
