Senior Knights lose 28-14 season opener to Red Devils

A Two Yard TD was the result of Centerpoint recovering a Mountain Pine fumble on a punt return. Luke Palmer, #42, took this handoff from Robert Noyola, #12, as the line surge by the Senior Knights allowed Palmer to put Centerpoint up 6-0 early in their August 31 game at Pine.

MOUNTAIN PINE - The Centerpoint Senior Knights turned a fumbled punt return by Mountain Pine into seven quick points Friday night, August 31, in their 2007 season opener. But the host Red Devils rallied from a 14-14 score in the final period to post two more scores and win 28-14.
The Senior Knights ran the ball 48 times for 256 yards. They completed four of six passes for 24 yards, lost no fumbles and had 25 yards in penalties.
The Centerpoint Senior Knights travel to Dierks for another non-conference game at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 7.
