Simmons - Pannell to exchange wedding vows May 24 in CabotJohn and Louise Simmons of Cabot announce the engagement of their daughter, Jocelyn Simmons, to Drew Pannell.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Rev. John and Marion Simmons of Des Arc and Betty and the late B.R. Holmes of Hazen.
The prospective groom is the son of Gary and Elaine Pannell of Dierks. He is the grandson of Gerald and Martha Edge of Umpire and Mirtie and the late Jeff Pannell of Dierks.
The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Cabot High School and is currently employed with Open Arms Shelter in Lonoke.
The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of Arkansas Tech University and is employed by the Center of Toxicology and Environmental Health in North Little Rock as an environmental scientist.
The couple will exchange vows in a 3 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, May 24, at Faith Baptist Church in Cabot.
All family and friends are invited to attend.
