Undefeated Rattlers win nail-biter! September 26, 2007 - No reporter cited

In one of the longest nip and tuck gridiron battles in this scribe’s memory, the Murfreesboro Rattlers out lasted the 2006 Arkansas AA defending state champions 50-41 by coming from six points down 28-34 in the latter part of the third period for the victory.

The Rattlers took a gift safety by the Lions with 1:26 to go in the third. Then with heroes all over the field with only 3:35 to go in the third, went 54 yards in three plays to take the lead with Ethan Crocker’s pat boot 37-34.
