Verneise McJunkins, 89, of Saratoga, died Thursday, August 27, 2009.

She was born Sept. 21, 1919 in Nashville.

She is survived by a son, Bill McJunkins of Mineral Springs; a daughter, Gayla Young of Saratoga; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sat., Aug. 29, at Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.

Burial was in Saratoga Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
