Homer and Janie Young of Mineral Springs are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Laci, to Clay Morris of Texarkana. 

Laci is a 2002 graduate of Mineral Springs High School.  She earned a bachelor of science in nursing in 2006 from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. 

She is currently employed as a registered nurse by Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana. 

Clay is the son of Floyd Morris, Jr. of Gillham and Tammie and James Dobbins of Horatio.  He is a 1999 graduate of Horatio High School.  He earned a doctorate in pharmacy in 2007 from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.  He is currently employed as a pharmacist by Red River Pharmacy in Texarkana.

The couple is planning a March wedding in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.  A reception will be held for family and friends following the wedding and honeymoon. 

The couple will reside in Texarkana.
